There's something entrancing about dark eyes to me. Yes, blue & green eyes are more accessible... immediately beautiful. But you really have to explore brown eyes. They hold secrets. They're mysterious. More intense, usually.

Love, love, love the song Brown Eyes, by the way. It's perhaps the most finely crafted Mac song of all time. It's absolute perfection: ethereal, beautifully simple, sensual, understated, even a bit carnal! Substantive, but always leaves you yearning for more. Ahh, I miss Christine so badly...

Speaking as a heterosexual female, I've always preferred blue and green over brown eyes. Despite the fact that my ex was a huge jackass, he did have some pretty brown eyes that took on a deep amber color in sunlight that looked really pretty. And yet, I've never been that crazy for brown eyes cause it seems so...common, so to speak.

Alas, I am a bit biased towards green and blue cause I do have blue eyes (and I went to a high school where they thought I was wearing colored contacts when I got contacts, but then again, I remember hearing someone once say that a lime was a tiny green lemon, seriously) and depending on the shade, I could look into them forever. This looks even better in my books when it's a more pale shade of either color with dark hair (think Lindsey). My ex's brother had that look with dark brown hair and the most gorgeous pale blue eyes and if he didn't have a girlfriend at the time and if I wasn't going out, I would've been all over him lol.

Oh yeah, and Brown Eyes is a great Christine song and one of the many reasons why I love Tusk.
