I've always loved this masterpiece, and it IS an absolute Holy **** Live Song, but I do far prefer the screaming of the "'cause nobody else is doin' it" vocal on the album to the more "gruntiness" this vocal takes on live. I don't really notice it when I'm there 'cause I'm waaaaaaaaay too excited, but then when I hear a boot I have to admit I cringe a little. Not because it's god awful...I still like the emotion, just because I think the screaming is so much better.

Extended answer.....I'll tackle a few of these:

Then Play On - It's hard to find a least or most favorite track here. But if I had to pick, I'd say least is "Show-Biz Blues" and most is "Oh Well". Dis album rawks!

Kiln House - "Blood On The Floor" least favorite. Most favorite (another hard decision) is "Station Man" followed closely by "Jeweled Eyed Judy" and "Tell Me All The Things You Do".

Future Games - It gets easier here. Most favorite is "Woman Of A Thousand Years" and least is "What A Shame".

Bare Trees - "Bare Trees" and least favorite, excluding "Thoughts On A Grey Day"(that's just too easy) is "Dust".

Penguin - "Revelation" followed closely by "Did You Ever Love Me"
are tops here and the low point is "Road Runner".

Mystery To Me - A lot of favorites on this one, but the one song that I've really come to enjoy is, SURPRISE, "Keep On Going". Least is "Forever".

Heroes Are Hard To Find - Favorite is "Bermuda Triangle" and least is "Born Enchanter".

The White Album - DUH.... "Rhiannon" is my favorite track and althought this might be unpopular, "Monday Morning" is my least favorite.

Rumours - "Go Your Own Way" is my favorite and my least fav is "Don't Stop".

Tusk - It's hard to pick a Stevie song from Tusk that is my favorite because they're all equally good, so I'll pick "Brown Eyes" as my favorite track and "Save me A Place" as least favorite.

Mirage - Favorite is "That's Alright" and EASY, the stinker from this one is "Empire State"......I HATE that song!

Tango - "Isn't It Midnight" is top dog here and Stevie's blabbering "When I See You Again" gets the "shut the f*** up" award. Where's the barfing emoticon when you need it?

Behind The Mask - Either "Behind The Mask" or "In The Back Of My Mind" is favorite here with once again the "shut the f*** up" award going to Stevie's "Second Time".

Say You Will - Least favorite is "Silver Girl" and favorite is "Illume", with "Red Rover" a close second.

Drum roll please.............................

All time favorite song is "Rhiannon" and least favorite song is "Empire State".

I can't believe it's been a year already!

My fave on Say You Will has not changed... it's "Say Goodbye". I just happen to love those melancholic songs with excellent airs of poetry. Good harmony vocals, too. Other favorites should be "Red Rover", "Steal Your Heart Away", "Thrown Down" and "Running Through The Garden".

And after a year I still think "Silver Girl" sucks. I changed my mind - I used to love "Murrow Turning Over In His Grave" but now I never listen to it... I also sort of dislike "Illume (9/11)" and the studio version of "Come", since I've heard so many good live versions of it.

Hang on while I pick my jaw up off the floor...

My favorites? Well Murrow, Come, SYW and Destiny Rules are my favs but I like the whole album apart from Silver Girl, my ears have a tendency to draw my fingers into them at that point.

Talking Say You WILL

I think my favorites are a toss up. Murrow, Bleed to Love Her, and Say You Will.

My least faves are Illume, Everybody Finds Out and Miranda.

I don't think I can remember what's on the album any more, but of what I remember, my favorite is "Steal Your Heart Away" & my least favorite is "Smile at You."

I need to find which data bits on the surface of my disc correspond to the digital zeros & ones that make up the "Smile at You" track, & then gouge them out. Can I do that?

So it has been a year since SYW has been released~~~where did the time go?!

Well I must say there are songs that have grown on me over the one year period, "Illume" and "Destiny Rules" are songs that I like now.

My favorites as of 4-17-04 are "Thrown Down," "Illume," "What's The World Coming To," and "Bleed To Love Her"

The ones I don't care for are~~Yes, it still remains "Red Rover," and "Running Through The Garden", I was never fond of these two in the beginning and it remains that way a year later.

Thumbs up my version

Actually, my preferred "version" of the album is one that I burned myself. It's much more listenable...

1) Whats the World Coming to
2) Murrow
3) Thrown Down
4) Say You Will (Chris Lord Alge mix)
5) Peackeeper (radio edit, he says "break their will" instead of "only kill"...the mix is slightly different too)
6) Come
7) Running Thru the Garden
8) Silver Girl
9) Steal Your Heart Away
10) Bleed 2 love Her
11) Destiny Rules
12) Say Goodbye

My opinions on SYW have barely changed in a year.

My favorite track is still "Thrown Down".

My least favorite is still WTWCT but I never skip it when I play the CD. Come to think of it I never skip any songs when I listen to a Fleetood Mac album. I even endure "Not That Funny" all the way through on FM Live

I never got much into "Say Goodbye" either. This song truly needs to be played live to find its melody as I find it impossible to sing along to the album version.

"goodbye baby" is probably at the bottom of my SYW list now. it's a pretty tune, but a little slow and lullaby-ish for my taste.

wtwct is prob my current fave.
