I really hope the If You Were My Love on here isn't the same one that is on YouTube. If You Were My Love could have been such an amazing song if they continued to work on it and clean it up. I hope the version on the deluxe Mirage is more polished and final sounding than the one that's on YouTube.

Me too. It's there in the new demo version they just released. That really thrills me.

Amen. It is a disgrace and a crime that it wasn't on the album. I feel the same way about "Smile at You." Cannot wait for this to come out.

I am so glad they are re-releasing Mirage in the three formats. I am a die-hard fan of the band but I hated paying the exorbitant price for the 5 cds and the vinyls that came with the Tusk re-release. If they had included the entire Mirage tour dvd and not just the previously released version, I would have been tempted to buy it, or even the audio CD. I don't want the vinyl, it just takes up room and I don't have a record player anyway.

I'm assuming Tango in the Night will be re-released, along with the concert video from the subsequent tour with Billy Burnette and Rick Vito. Surely there is more footage from that concert that could easily be reinserted back into the dvd, probably without the close ups of Stevie. Does anyone know if there's any chance the DVD could be re-released with more footage?

No way. They will pretend that band incarnation never existed since LB is back in the band now. I'd like the TITN boxset to just focus on the album and demos during that period, plus the b-sides and of course all the 12" remix tracks released back then.

I was thinking about this as well.

They might stick a couple of live tracks on, perhaps. Little Lies, Everywhere, Seven Wonders? ie none that feature prominent former LB vocals.

I agree that the price is ridiculous. Like you, if they'd included the FULL Mirage DVD, I'd have paid that price. But without it, I'll just copy someone else's!
