North Louisiana has always been far religious right. I've never really liked Mary Landrieu, but I'm glad she'll be keeping her seat - wasn't she way ahead in the polls?

She currently is leading 50 to 48 with 78% of the districts reporting.

I like Sen. Landrieu. Then again, I am from there and understand where she is coming from perhaps more than others. I do readily admit she could be better, though that can be said about most I suppose.
