Anyway, re: Friends. I'm a huge fan but I thought I really didn't care about the Ross & Rachel thing. Of course, when I was standing in the living room during the finale screaming "get off the plane!!!" I realized I obviously did want them together after all...

I've heard many people saying that they were disappointed in the finale, but I think they did what the majority of the fans wanted. They would have never lived it down had they NOT put R&R together or let Monica & Chandler have the babies.

Remember the hideous Seinfeld finale? UGH!

I agree, the Friends finale was safe, but folks would have hated surprises. It could have used more laughs, though. Few of the episodes have made me laugh in recent years, but I did like Joey's use of the word "Moo".

Pretentious is definitely an appropriate description. He always seems so rehearsed in interviews, like he's doing an anchorman voice or a politician's posturing.

I myself enjoy Charmed sometimes. It's hit or miss.

FYI, I saw an ad in a magazine that they're selling a DVD of an extended version of the Friends finale with "never-before-seen footage." It doesn't say how much extra footage or if they did alternate endings or anything, but it might be interesting....

She's gorgeous but she needs to grow her hair back The guy who plays what's her names husband/boyfriend/whatever he is to her now is alright by me That's the only reason I've sat through that show...and because i've been forced to.
