Default One more thing...

"the interview was longer ago than I remembered -- it was April 29."

Ditto! An LB solo album in the spring, huh? Spring of 2008, perhaps!

Don't forget, we'll have plenty of stripped down Lindsey in September, on his solo Soundstage show!

Yeah, get rid of all those extra players. They're just up there taking orders anyway.

Fleetwood Mac isn't meant to sound full-bodied. It's like adding strings & choir to Billie Holiday.

I am crossing my fingers and toes. Plus, I want everyone to be able to see him in the same setting as the Soundstage performance I witnessed in Chicago last September. It was jaw dropping. Strandie, Sulamith and I floated out of there on a little cloud and it still gives me goosebumps just thinking about that evening.

"Stevie's tired and wants to take some time off. I'm way more positioned to put out a solo album now."
Well, being the selfish, greedy fan I am, that news bums me right out. I was hoping for a new Stevie solo album, too, while waiting for the next Mac release.
Ah well.

Stevie certainly deserves some time off, since she's rarely taken breaks over the years. I guess I just still think that we'd have far more albums, if they wouldn't spend so much time, and expend so much energy, on the road.

I don't think she'll stop writing or recording. I just think she needs a break from touring.

That I could live with.
As I've said, I wouldn't be at all disappointed if any or all of them took a break from touring... but I'd sure hate to see them also take a break from recording.

If Lindsey and Stevie could harness the intensity and energy of performances like Say Goodbye and Beautiful Child, and somehow parlay that into writing and recording new music, it would be a tremendous endeavor.

Short of that, let them do what they must. Stevie needs a rest. Bless her. She deserves it.

Lindsey wants to work and he seems to be in a fury to get some music out. Bless him. We deserve it.

Johnny, I highly doubt that Stevie's being tired is going to stop her from writing and recording songs, be them demos or what not for her next album. She could've already recorded some demos for a new album during the month-long breaks between tour legs. There's still hope.

And she must use Space Needle or I'll croak.
