That did actually cross my mind when I read the story, hoax or not. She hasn't ever referred to such a thing, has she?

The ghost of her father being with her? Yes, she has.

Btw, she has talked about selling this house herself, saying the only reason she bought it was because she envisioned a family living there and she liked that thought. But reality hit her soon enough and she realized she had to leave. Maybe they went with that and twisted it.

I've been away, I guess. Not that this kind of talk from her should come as a surprise.

Now I'm picturing her as Winona Ryder in Beetlejuice, living with a ghost family.

This does not look like the same house in the Australian interviews, where she wore that cool red rose dress.

I remember when Stevie lived up in Benedict Canyon about a 10 minute drive from my old place in Beverly Hills. My friend Hilary used to like to have a couple of tequilas and go up there to steal her mail. It was so weird. Whenever someone would visit me from out of town it was like, "take us by Stevie's..." haha instead of, "hey, show me around your place..."

That was in the 80's when she lived on the top of Angelo Drive. My friend, Paolo's girlfriend did make up or something for the Rooms on Fire video. He said that his girlfriend said Stevie had all her stuff in plastic bags against her bedroom wall.

You guys, THAT was the kind of house I picture Stevie living in. It was on a cliff...with big iron gates and the "guest house" was in front of the actual house. The "guest house" was about the size of a small town. It was all painted light blue and over the archway entrance to the house there was a placard sign that read something like "KASTEEL KAMPHUZEH" or something like that.

Driving up that canyon (especially at night) was a nightmare as it was so narrow and winding with a huge, huge drop on your left going up...and on your right going down.

Now THAT was impressive.

Jim

I'll have to dig out some pictures from the 80s to post sometime but, I'm sure you've all seen it.

.

I think maybe even more impressive is the concept of hard-core '80s-style Stevie Freaking Nicks doing 90 down that road at night in a red Porsche while coked up and yelling at her agent on the phone at the the same time.

I could be wrong, but I think maybe in earlier interviews when she talked about the ghosts of Robin, seeing ghosts in castles, etc., she was talking literally; whereas now when she's talking about her Dad's ghost she's talking more "metaphorically," or at least talking more about "sensing his spirit."
As opposed to what she now probably realizes were possibly just hallucinations she may have experienced "back in the day."

seeing as she has never driven and there were no cell phones in the 1980s that really takes some imagining.
