When did Peter Greens voice crack?
Over the years I have actually felt that his voice has gotten more subtle and nuanced by it being cracked with the splinter group, I have read tangential references to it but does anyone know when and under what circumstances? You hear it in Kolors when he sings stranger blues. In most of the PVK sessions it is just subued softand

I believe his voice on the first PVK release In The Skies were very strong, but with the second release it became more and more weak. You can hear on some live recordings with Kolors his voice really cracks and also sometimes almost unaudible. He also has difficulties with the th-sounds in that period.

voicing
due to a roof leak which apparently only leaked on my PG cds have been listening back to tracks i had not done in a while. His voice is whispy in "Carry My Love" and "6 string Guitar" . I think that all through The Splinter groups recordings, he makes great use of the limitations of his voice. I looked on the BBC special and the splinter group DVD and it appears thet he was drinking lemonwater or some soothing vocal conditioner. If it was just from the busy schedule, then this rest that he is now experiencing should be "just what the doctor ordered". I may be preaching to the choir, but he has great vocal and musical timing
