In that quick clip that shows them in the dressing room (while Mick is talking about waiting to go on stage), you see Stevie sitting in a chair with someone tending to her hair. It appears that she's blowing a huge billow of smoke out of her mouth! Am I just seeing things, or did she just take a hit of pot?

At first I thought it was a blast of hairspray but indeed the smoke or whatever does appear to be coming out of her mouth.

Sorry that I don't know how to make this a little more focused, or how to fine tune the tracking or whatever. But I'll put it up anyway.

This is what we have SuperFleetwood for.

Thank you for this video. It was new to me. I thought it was funny when they said Stevie was fighting a cold and couldn't attend the press conference when more than likely she was zonked out on muscle relaxers. I also learned from this interview that the song Sara was on Rumours. Did you know that?

So why was Stevie not in the Love Shines video?

Your welcome. No I didn't know that, I always thought Sara was from the Mirage album

I don't think Stevie's even on the song. It sounds to me like it was just Mick, John, Chris, and Billy. Anyway, THAT was Fleetwood Mac at that moment. I'm still disappointed those four didn't do an album just as a quartet. There was a definite chemistry there.

Agreed, a solid vibe and sound from this quartet.

I'm not sure that was the way they reported it. Bekka wasn't necessarily "replacing" Stevie. She was just a new band member. I know it's just semantics, but "replacing" sounds like "Oh, we have to get a new Stevie!" Billy and Rick did replace Lindsey because a guitar is an essential part of a band. A blonde girl singer isn't.

I never thought of that, but you are so right! The possibilities of the four of them, with Christine and Billy fronting the band, could have been very interesting, even if that line-up survived only long enough to do one album. There certainly was a chemistry between them.

The closest example of that is the cover song "Roll With Me Henry" which I consider a Fleetwood Mac song, if not by official name. It's Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, Billy Burnette, and Rick Vito, with two session players. Officially named "Christine and Friends."

Aside from not having any involvement with the song, I believe she had already quit the band. She was busy, starting to work on her masterpiece Street Angel.
