Default Peter's joke from an interview :-)

Peter's joke from an interview (very interesting) for Polish Jazz Forum magazine from 1996.
Peter said about his composition Oh Well:
First I wrote the second atmospheric and acoustic Part Two, and then Part One which was a hit.
I'm not sure if I wanted to be commercially successful but I think- Oh Well Part One is one of the first RAP songs. (laugh)

Greetings from Poland

Default rap it is

Rap sells and Vaughn Williams does not

go figure

however OH Well part one is rap to instrumental call and rersponse. I do not know enough about rap but i do not believe they have yet explored that possibility

what do you mean by "rap to instrumental call and response"?

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

Default call and response

If you notice ,the only words sung during the music are "Oh Well".
the pattern is musical phrase, pause Lyric incantation, musical refrain, instrumental, pause , lyric incantation, musical refrain, instrumental finalle. That the sections repeat so predictably, it is as if it is a call and response.

one interpretation anyway
. and then there is the "atmospheric" instrumental Oh Well
