Default Florence at Glastonbury

As a UK fan I have 2 thoughts:
1. In spite of the payday, IoW over Glasto showed a massive lack of insight and incredibly poor management.
2. I love Adele, but Stevie should have dedicated the O2 Landslide to Florence. She is killing Glastonbury.

Just watched a replay of Flo and the Machine....she was awesome...
I think our FM missed a trick here...Glastonbury is on the BBC all weekend..

They would have reached new audiences and rekindled old fans.
They would have been so good on Sunday afternoon.

I think the extensive BBC coverage is what put the band off Glasto. Face it, they ain't what they used to be. None of them are vocally as good as they were and whilst seeing them in person live on stage is amazing, they haven't come across well on recent TV performances or YouTube vids. Remember how cringe worthy watching The Stones at Glasto was a few years ago, yet everyone that was there said how brilliant it was - same deal.

I love Florence and her new album, but that vibrato when she sings live...

Well let me say that I HATE comments like this. How would you know? Maybe Stevie and Adele had some kind of really cool connection back stage when they met or something? If you don't know something for sure, why even say things like this?

Well, The Who closed Glastonbury on Sunday evening...
Roger Daltrey sounds great but not like he used to...that's okay the man's 69. He still sounds vital and alive......
They went down a storm, the crowd loved them...and my neighbour who is in her mid 30s thought they were the best thing at the whole Festival....
They don't have to sound like a record from the 70s but just be there and sound pretty good which FM do....and new fans will follow.
