Superfly's Version of Rhiannon

Has anyone else caught this? xD I think it's pretty fantastic, I think she's been influenced by the live versions of Rhiannon from the late 70s though. It reminds me a lot of the Midnight Special performance -

Holy shiz, you guys! This is THE BEST cover of Rhiannon I have ever heard. Buying and downloading this very moment. I love it so much. This girl has definitely been listening to some Stevie tour bootlegs, haha.

absolutely brilliant! though the english isn't very good, and to answer your question they're from Japan, the vocals are superb! My guess is that the lead singer (who notes Janis Joplin as a huge influence), saw the Rosebud or Midnight Special performance, thought it was pure genius, and wanted to cover it.

Heh, I thought this would be more well-known around here. I've had it on my PC for at least a year now. I love it, her vocals are incredible

ive had this for awhile too...i think i got it from myspace. its a girl(band) from japan.

I had it as well, but it got lost when my computer crashed. I presume you downloaded it when it was one of the songs of the week on The Legacy. There was also a cover by someone named Lisa. If you have it, could you upload it for us?
