It didn't sound great when I heard it - much harder to make out what Lindsey is saying and you don't get the impact of John and Mick - but that's just radio

I heard it on the radio yesterday. I was determined and listened to an hour of Ken's show until he played it. I was pleased with how it sounded - very distinctive Fleetwood Mac but a 2017 FM rather than 70's, 80's FM.
I know the song isn't amazing, and nowhere near the quality of some of their previous work, but I'm just pleased we have something new from them and it's out there being played on the radio. It's a decent song and I'm curious as to what else is on the album. Last edited by MoonSister75; 04-20-2017 at 02:23 PM.. |

I think what I was trying to express above, is that considering the age of this band, IMW doesn't sound dated when you hear it on the radio. Whereas they played a new song by Engelburt Humpadinck ( what a name!!)and that definitely sounded like it belonged back in the 70's.
I really appreciate that Lindsey tries hard to keep FM songs sounding new, and poppy (is that a word?) and of this time, not just a rehash of songs from their heyday. |
