Maybe because I am trained in statement analysis but it seems Ellen is providing cover to the band as if everyone expected the band to sound bad with new members?
Lots of bands perform on Ellen. Does she say 3 times after they perform how good they sound and then ask the audience the same thing?
I am probably in the minority again but I just thought that was strange. Its just sad that the band needs a prop up from Ellen because of new members

The mix was soo off. I thought they sounded fine aside from that. The vibe was a little tense/awkward but I attribute that to the newness/nervousness of the situation. I’ve held off on saying much since Lindsey’s departure, but boiling it down to ‘good’ people/‘bad’ people and making the circumstances seem so black and white is pretty simplistic.

I am really sad Lindsey has gone. I am not a fan of the new lineup, and especially not of Stevie or Mick. However, in my view there is fault on Lindsey’s side, too, and allusions to that fault filtered out in one or two articles around the time of his departure. I don’t want to be accused of defamation so I’m not going to write more than that.

I will just say that the latest Rumour is that Fleetwood Mac was going to get caught up in some sort of Les Moonves type of situation and leave it at that. If that actually turned out to be the case you'd be able to hear a f*cking pin drop around here. Again we have no idea what really happened.
