lindsey and Warren Zevon

Hi guys, I don't post often but it was just wondering why Lindsey did not make an appearance on Zevon's final studio album? I know they have worked together before, and were good friends at one time. Anyone know?

Not too sure why LB didn't participate on Zevon's last album. Too bad, he could've made a nice contribution. Maybe LB was too busy with his band's own album and tour to partake.
LB hasn't been on a Zevon album since early '80's when he sang backup on "The Overdraft", from zevon's The Envoy album. Prior to that, he was on Zevon's self-titled debut.

I had thought this very same thing. I wish LB had taken the time to do something with Warren as I love "Poor Poor Pitiful Me" and it would have been great to have one more song with them.
But alas it was not meant to be.

I wondered that, too. They were friends in the Buckingham Nicks days and it was thanks to Warren that Lindsey got the gig with Don Everly. I can only imagine he wasn't asked; I'm sure he would have made the time to go down there and help. The man was DYING, for Heaven's sake. You put your own stuff on the backburner for that! "Sorry, I know you have 4 weeks to live, but I've gotta finish up this post-production." NOT!
