Lindsey sings RTTG!

This great site www.allkingshorses.net has 'early mixes' of some SYW songs for download.

I haven't heard them all yet but I'm loving the RTTG # 2 mix. it's just Lindsey's vocals and the instrumentals are pared down a bit. It's awesome - he could do all of the album like this and I'd buy it!

Am I listening to the same RTTG 2 you guys are? It's just Lindsey doing the chorus in those funny voices. Nothing to write home about.

HOWEVER, I love him on Everybody Finds Out #2! Thrown Down #2 is great, too. And Steal Your Heart Away is interesting in that you can hear good old Christine. Or am I just hearing things there? lol

BTW, is "Thrown Down #1" simply the single mix?

But honest to god, I dig those funny voices And I realised what it is about the instrumentation - theres no snare, kick drum, or bass even I think. So this is like Lindsey and Lindsey alone - and it just leaves me gobsmacked that he can do this!

Hmm someone, I think Dissention, must have posted the EFO#2 one, cause I have that already. His vocals are great in that, hey. And I really like that intro!

What a great view in the workingprocess. I agree downonrodeo, I simply love how lindsey makes sketches to be filled in later. Those sketches are sometimes (at least) as beautiful as the finished product (Given thing 1 and 2, wear you down, are some of my faves from GOS). It's amazing how we get more and more downloads we are not supposed to hear. It makes the love for this band equally more addictive!

Hearing Stevie singing in that weird echo thing was cool.

Now that I think about it...if Lindsey WAS singing RTTG, it would have been on the Rumours board. I'm an idiot. LOL

Yeah, I did.

And they can easily do EFO live.

The gap in RTTG drives me insane. I tried to fix it back in September when I first got these, but had no luck. I did manage to get a lot of hiss removed from Thrown Down #2, though. I love the extra Lindsey vocals.
