I'm pretty sure it wasn't her maiden name. There was once an LB family tree site and if I remember well she had like a German last name or something like that. I guess Lindsey was just going to end up the child to give the "unique" name to. I don't frankly care that Lindsey was a name given to both women and men...when your brothers are Jeff and Greg it's going to be weird.

As for his name, I bet his oldies were betting for a girl after Jeff and Greg, but they decided to give him the name anyways. But, you're right, I always found it strange that he had a name that was probably traditionally a guys' name (such as Ashley and Marion), but had over the years become one associated with girls. Hell, I thought he had a stage name for quite a while. |

Any time, my friend. Just tell us you'll be gone for a while (or I'll assume again) and I'll try not to make an ass of all of you guys and me when I try to put up Bucky pics.
OK, so that's not very German at all. Looking on some last name generator sites (after I was done playing around with mine for a bit lol), I found out Buckingham was Saxon in origin, and the Saxons were a Germanic tribe. So, in some odd, roundabout way, he is kinda German, but at the same time, Elliott is British. Now I need that family tree! D: |

Yeah, Elliott is definitely not German. But I could have sworn there was some German in his geneology. I will definitely look for that link and post it.

Yes, Wikipedia says she was Rutheda Elliott and his dad was Morris Bialecke. I'm assuming Bialecke was the middle name, as opposed to the name he had before changing it to Buckingham.
Rutheda was born on February 2, 1920 and died on January 2, 1999. Morris was born on September 18, 1918 and died some time in February 1974 |

EDIT: I Googled Bucky's family tree and i found out that they've been there since the colonies in the 17th century and there's a whole British site devoted to it, but of course, they had to spell Liddy's name with an A (like Lindsay Lohan): http://www.buckinghams.co.uk/ Last edited by MissLadyLoki; 07-14-2010 at 07:35 AM.. |

OK, holidayroad said it herself again she won't be on, so I'll be playing her yet again. As usual, it's more links (and a few real pics too)
Take a quick gander at where Chris's hand is in this pic... http://****yeahlindseybuckingham.tum...l-and-timeless "Say, you got a chain? I wanna make this hunk of gold the mightiest necklace in the land." http://****yeahlindseybuckingham.tum...goldddustwoman Nice Jimmy Page guitar he's got there, but what song would he play it during? http://****yeahlindseybuckingham.tum...post/789972233 Love or hate fuzzy, you gotta admit he's got a nice smile here. http://****yeahlindseybuckingham.tum...post/363305808 To keep up being holidayroad, I gots a pic of Eraserhead-- I mean, Go Insane-era Bucky. I still think this is funny. It's odd seeing Stevie even breaking a sweat, but doesn't she look like she's about to say "Pound it!" |

Y'know, I just realized that Bucky looks exactly like Jimmy Page on the back of I (Led Zeppelin's debut, lower left corner).
