Actually, if you listen to the "Ohhh..." part again, I don't think it's so much strained, as it sounds like there's a skip in the audio track. Is anyone else hearing that?

In regards to the complaints about the cheesy synth on this new clip...um...have you HEARD the original version???
^^^This. Lol.

Goosebumps. I think this one is my favorite so far. The more I hear of these snippets, the more interested I become in hearing this record.

"All The Beautiful Worlds" is one of my all-time favorite demos/outtakes, and this sounds fantastic. Stevie's latter-day voice is so perfectly suited for these lyrics. Love it!

Yeah! It does sound like a "skip". Either that or a "mixing error", like if the Engineer switched between 2 different vocal "takes" but forgot to blend. Hmmmm?

Exactly, some type of glitch. I think that it might be because of whatever software they used to put the video together. It happens right at what seems to be a major frame change. I'm hoping it's that, and not part of the actual track on the album - because that's the kind of thing that will drive me nuts for the rest of my life, lol.

I'm sure this doesn't really belong here, but I thought I would upload my version of All The Beautiful Worlds. I slowed it down to match the 24K version, and also enhanced it so it didn't make my migraines worse (turned down treble) lol It is definitely more easy going when it's slower, but I can't tell if I like it better or not.

It sounds kind of demo-ish--like outtake vocals and temporary music. I do like it, it just sounds rough around the edges. Of course I will reserve my judgement for the full song because it's hard to tell based on 15 seconds.

That being said, I will hold out judgment until I hear the full song. I remember how awful I thought the clip of Everybody Loves You was, but the finished song ended up being my favorite track from In Your Dreams.
Street Angel! I hope you find Jesus...

She is doing a better job singing at 66 than a lot of people would do.
To me Beautiful Worlds was always a finished song, do this is a remake and of course it's not going to be as good as the original.

This is the first snippet that I've heard that I can't wait to hear the whole song! I love it!

I feel this too
which is why i LOVE the snippets so far
especially this one. i thought hmmm this sounds like what she sounds like live
which, on some songs i prefer live over the record version

however, you have not even heard the whole version of any of these songs yet
so you can't really say that she's limiting herself vocally...yet
