Kick ASS!!! WOW!!! I'm getting more and more excited about this album every time they release a snippit ~ as much of a "tease" as they are!
Loving that it's a fast song! Loving her voice! |

Same here. That guitar is crunchy, and I like it a lot.

Anmazing how close to the demos Stevie is staying with all of these songs so far.

Love the sound, but I still don't understand why the only pictures we're getting are RAL era ones.

Love this and love the sound. Production sounds solid, and loving Stevie's voice! So excited for one of my fav demos to finally receive the attention it deserves!

Her voice seems like it's pretty prominent on this album. And it's strong, too - I'm really pleased so far, and even more excited for the record (if that's possible, lol).

Agreed. This could either work favorably for a particular song, or work against another. I'm really digging what we've heard so far, though! 42 MORE DAYS!!!

Agreed! I really love The Dealer, but from what we've heard so far, these other tracks blow it out of the water!

I Agree. It would all but seem that "24 Karat Gold" is turning out to be Stevie Nicks' bona fide rock record out of her entire solo catalog & career! Sprinkeled with a few ballads - If You Were My Love, Blue Water, She Loves Him Still, (and perhaps, "Lady".)
This new version of "Belle" sounds slightly faster, unquestionably bigger, and more piercing than the full band outtake recording of Belle Fluer during the Wild Heart session by far. Which is the opposite effect they went for on "The Dealer", which is more sparse and subdued musically, until the rollicking final chorus kicks it up a notch. I'm struck by the raw musical aesthetic of these snippets (esp. "Belle" , Mabel" & "I Don't Care) which sound Petty-esque, moreso than anything Stevie has done before, including Bella Donna. I wouldn't be surprised that Stevie rallied for a more straight forward rocking record with much less polish and overdubs. So far, each song teaser is far from the production sheen of TISL and IYD. I have to agree with Christopher. It reminds me a lot of Annabel Lee. She sounds great though! Love how they are keeping her voice as the prominent instrument that it should be!
Also glad the people around her have finally got her utilizing the social media such as FB, Instagram, YouTube, etc. looks like its already paying off! |

Just my guess - there are probably *so many* photos from the era we haven't seen.

I'm actually LOVING all these newly discovered (to us, at least) "Rock A Little" era photos! When it comes to the way she dressed, wore her hair, and set up the backgrounds for her photo shoots and selfies, RAL is my favorite era. This photo book is one big BONUS and I bet it will turn out to be something "exquisite" (no pun intended).
