I would add "Seven Wonders" to list….

No because stevie "Co Wrote" it (Even if she just wrote one line)

Saying Stevie co-wrote one line of Seven Wonders is a huge overstatement, IMO. I get words wrong all the time, and I don't call it "writing". I'd include the song too, little blip in the studio aside. But I can see the argument for quibbling against its inclusion.

Too Far From Texas is a duet.

In Your Dreams, I am ashamed at myself for not picking up on that!
Red River Valley and Silent Night should be on the list, I suppose. And It's Only Love |

Agreed Dex! It always bothered me that she claimed "co-writing" credit for Seven Wonders. Surely, she didn't need the money that bad...just saying.

I can't remember where I read Sandy Stewart wasn't happy about writing credit.

So is her "writing credit" based on the fact that she sings "...to Emaline" instead of "you held the line"?
Because if that's the reason, then I call, "Bullsh*t!" |

Oh and don't forget "Tara....."

I forgot all about Tara, actually.
I wonder how much she actually gets from that song. The "Written by Sandy Stewart. Additional lyrics by Stevie Nicks" credit seems like a coy way of saying "Sandy wrote this. Stevie... didn't." without actually saying it. If I Were You, on the other hand, is a song where Stevie truly did write one line, but her contribution is genuinely significant and she is credited as a co-writer in a far less specific/odd way. |

Can anyone point me to the Stevie song which co-opts a bassline/guitar riff from Sandy's album? I could swear there is one and now I can't think of it. I think the Sandy track that shared this similarity is one of the following three: "Not Like The Others" "Mind Over Matter" or "Leave It All Behind."

Some Become Strangers
Cry Wolf God's Garden Free Fallin' Every Day Rock and Roll Crash Into Me Circle Dance ...I really like these. I've never really cared for Talk to Me. I Still Miss Someone (Blue Eyes), Sometimes It's a Bitch, Love's a Hard Game to Play, Docklands and Unconditional Love should never have been given room on any album. |
