Lindsey’s Anthology is charting on the Rock Chart on iTunes. It’s #56 which is good because it’s expensive.

Good.

As I've said from the outset, I want them to realize what a big mistake they've made and ask Lindsey back.

I don't even care if they tour. It could be a nominal gesture for all I care. I just want that magical entity that was the Rumours 5 restored. I want the wrong to be righted, and I don't mean monetarily. Like Lindsey, I want the "family" back together, dysfunctional as it may be.

I just don't want it to end like this.

If they ever did get back together (which is 98% unlikely to ever happen) it would be for the wrong reasons. It would be because Mick and Stevie knew they'd f****d up big time and were doing all they could to repair what's left of their ruined sh!tty reputation. They wouldn't be getting back together for the sake of the band or because they deep down loved Lindsey all along, but for their own selfish reasons.

Yep! My thoughts exactly.

Stevie and Mick recognizing their error and rectifying it *would* be to the benefit of the band and to its legacy.

"Love" each other? A *show* of unity is all we can ask of them. Behind closed doors, they can want to slit each other's throat for all we should care.

Nah, it would be hollow and we'd know it.
If they tried, I hope he'd tell them to p!ss off.

Might want to make this bonus extended interview its own thread, just so people will take note of it.

I am with Lindsey. It's about the band tarnishing its legacy. Lindsey is willing to let them repair the damage. That is to his credit.

P.S. He shouldn't have speculated about the possibility that Stevie is jealous of his family. Lindsey's openness betrayed him there.

He says his main disappointment is not that he'll never get to play with them again, but that their legacy is now tarnished. He wanted to fly to Hawaii to meet with Mick and Stevie to get past the issue, but they refused. "There was another agenda," he said. He also said Stevie saying "he goes or I go" is tantamount to Mick Jagger saying "either Keith goes or I go." I think the analogy is perfect.

Finally he says maybe they'll get their current experiment out of their system and ask him back, in which case, for the sake of their legacy, he'd agree. He is clearly the adult in the room.

The one mistake he makes is speculating that Stevie may be jealous of his family life. That's not something to wonder aloud about on national television.

yeah well...what she did to him was a new low, even for her. So really, I could care less about her. sorry, not sorry.

It could be taken as many things. I think it was presented as his way of trying to understand how his very presence could upset Stevie so much.

It might also have been a little wicked.

I don’t know.

But I loved it.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

yes to all of this. i actually loved that he finally expressed that KB is his soulmate.

many times in interviews SN would go off like his wife is insignificant, and like it's still him and her against the world. so hey-ho. good for him and for his loving supporting family.

I have no problem with him saying that. It's the same thing a lot of fans have thought and the fact that he thinks that's a reason validates fans opinion of Stevie.

The only tour of this five I would ever deign to patronize would be one in which, at every show, Stevie, Mick, John and Christine line up at the front of the stage at the beginning and end of each concert and say "We would like to apologize"--first to Lindsey and his family; then to the fans.

Just kidding. I honestly have no interest in that band anymore.
