The Leftovers

Wow! Just a minute ago I saw a promo for a dramatic new series call the Leftovers on HBO. It caught my attention because the soundtrack lyric sounded familiar.

"In the stillness of remembering what you had, and what you lost." It was so different I didn't recognize it at first. It was a rough edgy verison, with a female singer that sounded like Marianne Faithful or a similar style singer ( I'm reaching for a reference; I think that is who I mean).

It showed two people jumping off a high rise building!

It's the 2012 version by The Kills if you're wanting to hear the whole thing.
