I love 'Gypsy' this time 'round. On the SYW tour, I felt that Stevie didn't translate 'Gypsy' well which may be why it was dropped for 'Sara'. Now having 'Gypsy' and 'Sara' in the same set is amazing but I also think that she is really feeling the 'Gypsy' that she is and putting her all into the performance every night. I enjoyed her little intro to 'Gypsy' on Friday. It is a story that we all know I'm sure but to hear her speak of putting her bed on the floor with lace and flowers all around her, firsthand is incredible.

Okay, THAT is the best performance I've heard so far (good recording too, I loved the fact it was mainly recorded from the screens). Real emotion and beautifully sung. Mick has got the drums down too (they were a bit shakey the first night).
How sucky though that people were talking throughout?

The talking wasn't so bad on my side, but alas I didn't record the whole song. Wild Heart, the Gypsy story was cute wasn't it? I'm glad they all appeared to be in a good mood for this show. I just hope we don't hear a year from now how Stevie was miserable, blah blah.

Her vocal was much better that night than when I saw it in Pittsburgh. Friday's show was a blur to me. I forgot that she even put on the maroon dress. How bad am I??

You can tell the way she just closes her eyes and rocks her head, when she's not singing that she is at the point where she can lose herself in the music and doesn't have to worry so much about her sound or forgetting the lyrics anymore. She's gotten used to it. The performance is second nature so she can feel it now, without the self-consciousness that was there earlier.

The harmonizing vocals are lovely, but based on Beautiful Child, I knew that Lindsey, Sharon, etc. were going to join in and layer beautifully on this particular one too. Michele

I don't like they way they do the ending of Stand Back.... Instead of the high kick, I don't think the 1,2,3,4, is a good substitute.

and, thanks for the focus on Stevie during GYOW...verycool to see what she, John and Mick are doing on the stage as opposed to LindseyZOOM on his guitar...I can appreciate this for a change in capture

I'm glad you guys are enjoying them as much as I am! My camera records in 1080p HD so you should see it on my mother's 60" Sony HDTV!

Has anyone had any luck uploading HD videos to YouTube? I have a Sony Handycam that records in AVCHD format, and I use Sony Video Vegas to process the videos. If anyone has some pointers for me, they would be greatly appreciated!
