I would trade Come A Little Bit Closer, for getting Don't Stop and Got A Hold On Me. Even tho, it rips my heart out..

I voted for adding both songs, and if we have to remove a song, I'll go along with the trend to remove "As Long As You Follow."

I think the other obvious choice for a song to remove is "Calumny" because each of her other solo albums is only getting one song on this comp (assuming that we vote "Got a Hold On Me" back onto the comp). But I think it earns a spot on this comp, because it really is one of her best vocal performances, and shows her ability as an interpreter of another songwriter's work.

I don't at all mind the idea of having two songs from her most recent solo record, as a token of encouragement to her if she's thinking about making another solo record (not that she will actually see this, but wouldn't it be nice if she did).

Thanks for the replies so far Ledgies. This poll closes tomorrow, then we have one last poll with the songs nominated for exclusion...

so far we have...Spare Me a Little, Come a Little Bit Closer, As Long As You Follow, and Calumny.

I must say I'm a little suprised about ALAYF getting several replies. However the Post-Rumours era would still be represented with Love Shines. I do agree with nicepace's idea about excluding one of the In the Meantime songs.

Still got a day or so for others to decide.

Yeah, I'm a little distressed actually! I didn't see this coming and thought Calumny was more or less a shoe-in. Oh well. I guess the sonic "style" of ALAYF is represented elsewhere in the lineup, but... poor li'l song.

Removing Spare Me A Little! Chorus is too repetitive!

I can't part with any of the Pre-Rumours tracks.

(also I'll still add ALAYF to MY definitive list)
