Default Gift Of Screws also available in Vinyl with bonus CD in paper sleeve.

Lindsey's new album will be released in two versions.

1. Standard CD in digipak packaging.

2. Vinyl set featuring one 180g heavyweight black vinyl disc in a
Stoughton jacket with bonus CD in paper sleeve.

Of course you'll be able to download the album also.

Awesome! I'm loving the return to vinyl trend that so many artists are doing now.

I would imagine only the online stores like Amazon, Tower and Music Direct.

I actually was wondering this! There's lots of vinyl releases at Virgin megastores and the such here in nyc. I will DEFINATELY be buying the vinyl version! yay!! Maybe I'll even buy a record player.

Reprise did CV on vinyl? Wow. I'll keep an eye out for that.

And, Tango, Yes, Totally: I'm waiting on the countdown!!!!

Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham may be Warner’s next artist to embrace the dual compressed-and-uncompressed release strategy when his new solo album, “Gift of Screws,” drops Sept. 16.

“I don’t know when we’ll do this again,” Biery said, “but I had Lindsey in my office last week and we were playing the masters and they sound unbelievable. This may be the perfect next release for an audiophile-CD-and-vinyl combo.”

I'll be purchasing a copy too, and I don't have a "working" record player.

I also have CV on vinyl, hadn't opened it yet. Maybe one day!

I know - I have all these rare records from the 40's and 50's that I cannot play. Oh Well

I will avoid the vinyl edition, and purchase the regular disc (I hate digipacks - some do not fit correctly in my wall storage and I have to store 'em elsewhere)
