Fleetwood Mac - Live in Sacramento, CA. 1st June 1990

Format:
CDR x2

Track List:

1.1 Say You Love Me
1.2 The Chain
1.3 Dreams
1.4 Isn’t It Midnight
1.5 Oh Well
1.6 Rhiannon
1.7 Stop Messin’ Around
1.8 When The Sun Goes Down
1.9 Save Me

2.1 Gold Dust Woman
2.2 Another Woman
2.3 Landslide
2.4 World Turning
2.5 Band Introductions
2.6 Everywhere
2.7 Stand On The Rock (cuts)

Notes:
The recording gets cut off at Stand On The Rock with a brief announcement from who I believe is the recorder about a problem with Security.

This band has no Lindsey Buckingham (Lindsey had quit in 1987, not to return until 1997), on guitar are Billy Burnette and the awesome Rick Vito, other then that all the regular Rumours crew.

Not the best quality boot, lots of audience chatter, however I dont believe this show has been circulated on CD before (only on audio tape). This show also has a rare song "When The Sun Goes Down" that was not widely played on tour.

Thanks to Paolo for the recording

Date & Venue:
1st June 1990 at The California Expo Amphitheatre, Sacramento, CA

Sound Quality:
B+ (audience)

Source:
AUD -> Unknown -> CDR -> WAV (via EAC) -> FLAC
Sweet! Thanks. I wish some clear quality boots of this era of the Mac would surface. They were really good on the BTM tour.

Hey, I saw this show!!

It was no different from any other show, & way too much hardware on stage, but Stevie put on her mini & somehow by the grace of God managed to have her old dancer's body once again for a few months.

A lossless copy of Albuquerque 1979 has just been posted to David's Bit Torrent tracker: http://www.throwndown-videos.net/bittorrents/

Fleetwood Mac
1979-11-02
Albuquerque, NM

Lineage: Audience recording > ? > trade CD-Rs (via Macfan_57) > EAC > FLAC

Disc 1:

01. Intro
02. Say You Love Me
03. The Chain
04. Dreams
05. Not That Funny
06. Rhiannon
07. Over And Over
08. Oh Well
09. Sara
10. Sara (continued)
11. What Makes You Think You're The One
12. Oh Daddy
13. Save Me A Place
14. Landslide
15. Tusk

Disc 2:

01. Angel
02. You Make Loving Fun
03. I'm So Afraid
04. World Turning
05. Go Your Own Way (cut)

Notes: Here is the first real audience recording from the Tusk tour that we are aware of. This is not the mp3-sourced version that Nickslover posted at Dime, this is a lossless copy as ripped from my own trade CD-Rs that I received from Macfan_57 about a year ago. For proof see the links to both frequency and spectral analysis. Dedicated to anal retentives people like myself.

The sound quality of the show is very good, around B+/A- with some tape fluctuation here and there. Obviously not all the songs they played that night are present; "GYOW" is cut off in the middle of a chorus too. But these are minor complaints as it is interesting to listen to these early renditions and compare them to the last boot of the tour (recently seeded at Dime in very good sound quality). Obviously there were changes in the lengths of the songs as the tour went on (i.e., they got longer, longer and longer) and in the level of passion (not that this one is passionless!).

Also, there are some flaws in the recording. There's a short drop-out in "Rhiannon", probably the taper accidentally hit pause and resumed taping a bit later into the song. There's a lot of skipping in the intro of "I'm So Afraid". I don't know exactly what caused it; it sounds like freeform jazz and I doubt they played it that way that night! This is the main reason for me not to post this at Dime; here in the land of the hardcore anything goes. Or at least I hope so.

Lindsey's talk between the songs seems less pre-planned than it would be later on, he even addresses a member of the audience directly before "Oh Well". The other notables you should hear yourself.

DO NOT DISTRIBUTE THIS IN LOSSY FORMAT! Converting it for your iPod or whatever is ok, but don't try to pass around those lossy files to someone else as lossless.

So enough of my yakkin' (if you even bothered to read any of this); start leeching! And keep on seeding when you're done because I can't keep this seeded during the weekend.

Fleetwood Mac - Next Stop Main Road - Manchester, U.K - August 25, 1990 - FM - Flac

This is a great 2 cd set of a FM broadcast of the "Behind the Mask" line-up of Fleetwood Mac which in my opinion was very under rated. Billy Burnett, who plays guitar and sings on this, along with Rick Vito, is now part of John Fogerty's touring band (see recent DVD torrent here of a Austin City Limits broadcast. It is excellent and highly recommended).

Artwork included on this one. Set list in info file.

Silver CD > Xact > Flac

Enjoy this and please keep it open for others. I will be jumping off once I see other seeders as I have other stuff I want to get up before the holidays.

Question: Does anyone know why this is called "Next Stop Main Road"? At first I thought it was because it was from Manchester, Maine but apparently not!

I heard it has to do with the venue "Maine Road" at which this concert was performed, But I wouldnt quote me on it.

It's two cd's alright, but half of cd 2 is Stevie's first concert video, several songs mislabeled in true bootleg fashion
But yeah, great concert I used to play it a lot.
