Anyway, you've reminded me of a time when a homeless man started playing a harmonica (I think) for my mum and David as we walked past him, but David walked on, saying he only had his visa credit card. The man, being good humoured, held his hand to his chin and looking at mum, saying "what did I do wrong?" in a humorous manner. Mum apologised, explaining that we didn't have any cash on us, but thanked him and wished him well. It turned out that, while mum and I didn't have anything, David did have money on him. Honestly, it takes so little from everyone to make so much for one person... I don't understand how people walk past such nice people in need so thoughtlessly.
It's probably a good thing that I don't live somewhere with a big homeless population, because I would soon be broke! I've spent a great deal of my life not having much and now I'm at least 'comfortable'. I am not worrying that the utilities will be turned off this month and if I want to go by a CD, I can afford it.
I am sensible. I mean, I know I can't give the grocery and bill money away, but I hate seeing people doing without. Sure, some of these people may be just trying to 'con' people, but others really need help. There have been times for me where I have been a paycheck away from losing a place to live.

There's nothing in the world that i hate more than maths, AND the feeling you get when you just failed an exam. Stevie Nicks cure.

Holy Stevie Nicks!

Lovely news: Connecticut (which is about 20 miles away from me) has a tornado warning, and things don't look too good down here. Just hope and pray I do get to experience a reenactment of Twister, minus the cow.

We had one in Chicago last night - I'm a horrible person for being disappointed that one didn't touch down. I'm from Kansas, we live for that ****! We did get the awesome yellow tornado sky, though.

The sky turns yellow when a tornado hits? Well, it's kinda dark here, but not yellow.

And the rainbow over Lake Michigan. I've lived in Chicago for 10 years and have never seen one in the city.

we have storms & tornado warnings all spring & summer long~ the sirens are right across the street from me, talk about deafening~ after it all blows over & we're all safe, we always put 'twister' in the blu ray player & watch~

Watching the sunset over the Alantic from a 2nd floor picture windown on a plushy daybed listening to Sara.

Doesn't get better than this.
