Now THIS. Just… wow. Best so far.
Initially sounds like her playing….but the end sounds not like her. Just someone playing how she does.. But would LOVE it to be her playing. I think the lyrics, sung by her in her older, more world-weary voice are just fabulous. |

When I first listened to the iTunes snippet I wasn't blown away but after listening to the full song I've got to say it's quite IMPRESSIVE!
A couple stray thoughts after listening a few times: 1) how did this not go on a previous album? Although I'm glad it didn't because I'm not sure we'd have it in this understated piano only cut. 2) why isn't this the album closer? Its the type of ballad that normally would end an album but definitely leaves you wanting more. All in all I have to say is "Great job!" |

This is why FM should be playing a few of her "24K" songs on this tour (and only this tour) Can you imagine Stevie singing this with just Christine's piano???

1. Absolutely stellar. Beautiful, understated, and striking. One of her best recordings ever.
2. This should set the stage nicely for those three "Rhiannon" songs if she ever records them. |

After repeated listenings I will say it is a tad too long. There's a point where it kind of quiets down and you think it's ended and it would be perfect to end right there….and then there's a pause and unexpectedly she starts up again, but alas only to repeat the same words a few times too many. But love her passion!
Reminds me of Dave's production on Italian Summer how he likes to start her out quietly and then have her build up to a real powerhouse ending. |

Didn't Dave Stewart say something during the video shoot about "just an amazing performance from Stevie Nicks," or something along those lines? 10-1 this is the video, and that was the performance.
