The CD is an awful quality. I heard that there a better quality version of that show on tape.
Ironically, when I took the ferry from Providence to Newport today they pointed out Colt State Park to us from the bay. All that I could think was that Stevie had played there in 1983. That was one crazy show.

Default Fruit

Wasn't a pineapple thrown from the audience on to the stage during that show? (and yes, this is a serious question)

I have a great-sounding tape of that show. It's one of the best in my Wild Heart collection.

I would send you five blank cd's if you could just record Stand Back from that show on a tape, I don't even need the whole show. I think the performance was THAT good! And yes, she sounded as high as a kite. In fact maybe the song kicked into high gear when she was hit in the face by the kiwi!

It's funny how us diehards see a certain place and remember that Fleetwood Mac or Stevie played there.

Every time I drive by Jones Beach, Nassau Colisseum or the Meadowlands I think of them and how many times I have seen them perform at the venue.

Did you see that great '82 show at the Meadowlands when Stevie kicked Lindsey & he refused to finish the set?

Which Hollywood Bowl show are you referring to? I was at the one in 1997 and don't recall Edge Of Seventeen.

No, all I have is the old audience tape of the Meadowlands show. It really rocks.
