Hahaha!! One of the comments says about Lindsey the California Fruit Loop: "A friend of mine went to see him recently, and said all the banter between songs was just so out there and undecipherable it just ruined the show."

There's a Stevie mention in Stephen King's new (excellent) book, "Doctor Sleep".
It's on page 237. A grown-up Danny Torrence is talking about "having a thing for Stevie Nicks at one time."

[click for photos. To me the wedding pictures did not look Stevie-esque.]

Honky Tonk and Stevie Nicks Inspired Wedding Ideas: Roni & David

http://www.rocknrollbride.com/2014/0...as-roni-david/

February 2, 2014

Roni and David had their first baby, Quintessa, a few months ago. So when their friend, pro photographer Mysi of Soda Fountain Photography asked if they’d like do a shoot inspired by their love of music, they jumped at the chance to get some gorgeous photos of themselves and their new addition.

The shoot took place at Honky Tonk BBQ Garden, in Chicago. Roni wore a selection of handmade dresses and headpieces. There were stringed instruments everywhere, harmonica favours, a rocking horse and bathtub that they stood in! The vintage furniture was perfect for displaying the gorgeous cakes, flowers and paper good created by some awesome local wedding vendors.

“Roni and David actually had a wedding shortly after this shoot, but because it was going to be so small and their little family was so big with love, I wanted to do something fun for them”, Mysi wrote. “They are both musicians (the kind that play everything), so we infused some instruments and a little Stevie Nicks feel to the whole thing. I told everyone not to smile at me, but there were some slip ups and it was perfect. I love everything.”

[Excerpt from Interview magazine interview with members of the group Color War by Erin Brady]

http://www.interviewmagazine.com/mus...y-color-war#/_

LIN: There are a lot of influences. If I were to try to list them I would just keep going on forever. We'll leave it up to the writers to figure that out. We've had some interesting comparisons.

BRADY: Like whom?

MOUND: PJ Harvey and New Order was one from our earlier shows. I was like, "What?"

BRADY: I read Stevie Nicks in one review for you, Lindsay.

MOUND: I'm not mad.

Default Star Crossed Duets/MSN

I hope I'm doing this correctly. This was on MSN this morning.

http://music.msn.com/star-crossed-du...re/?photoidx=1

Stevie and Lindsey are number 6 or 7 in the slideshow. It also features Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox.

No. 2 on this week's Entertainment Weekly Hit List:

Stevie Nicks on love: "It would be fun if I could find a boyfriend who understood my life." Little does she know, she's actually had four suitors this year. The first three never made it past the fourth layer of shawl, and the other one kept asking out the back of her head while she was midtwirl.

From a review from a Miley Cyrus concert:
Quote:
If you were still wondering if Cyrus was singing everything herself, this is where weaknesses started to appear. Drive, one requiring Cyrus to really push, showed her faltering in the low parts, while Rooting For My Baby and a jangly acoustic cover of OutKast's Hey Ya veered dangerously close to Stevie Nicks territory (and not good days Stevie Nicks).

From an article about artist Carrie Tornatore in Ithaca.com by Keri Blakinger

http://www.ithaca.com/news/candor/ar...9bb2963f4.html

One of the paintings she described involves Rhiannon, a figure in Celtic myth and also, Tornatore pointed out, the topic of a Stevie Nicks song. After reading that Nicks wrote the song because the name sounded interesting and then later learned about Rhiannon’s role in mythology, Tornatore found herself drawn to the figure too. She said, “The story is that she overcomes a lot of adversity and I identify with that.”

Whoever is tweeting from the Stevie Nicks twitter is on a mission today...

Never mind because all the tweets made from Stevie's twitter have since been deleted...

Maybe she was hacked...
