Your favorite documentary
This may be a bit unfair poll for some reasons. First, probably not everybody has not watched all videos (like me). Second, I'm not sure I'm including all documentaries produced about Fleetwood Mac. And I'm even including an unauthorized doc, the Unbroken Chain. And also the Mick dvd cause most of the video is about the band.
But my main point is to see why you like this or that doc the most. And which you dislike. What was included, what is missing, etc. If there's a missing doc in the list, mention it, and tell us its highlights.

I was going to choose Going Home, cause lot of people told me it was a great special, and though quality is very bad at youtube, when I watched there I discovered lot of great clips, from concerts to the Tusk photo sessions like here at 7:30 :
But I think I choose the BBC 2009, cause they don't talk just about Rumours, but Tango is detailed enough, like here when Lindsey talks about Stevie being just 2 weeks from 8 months sessions (6:00). Or the lyrics in Big Love:

There is a scene from the "TUSK" documentary of Lindsey and Stevie sitting/standing at the piano while harmonizing and working out the chords to "Angel". They sing it slow with a harmony so beautiful that it brings tears to my eyes. It is one of the most tender moments that I've ever seen of Stevie and Lindsey together. That little 2 minute snippet from the "TUSK" documentary is probably the reason that I listen to Fleetwood Mac.

Hi! Well my favourite is the 2009 documentary.
But, what about "Rock Family Trees"? |

I voted for Destiny Rules because it was more of a "behind the scenes doc", like The Tusk doc.

I also remember Stevie singing Angel at the studio with no instruments in the audio for moments. Great!

Disney's "Going Home" was the best one I've seen. It wasn't just Peter Green/Rumours-centric, it gave plenty of time to the Welch era & the post-Lindsey eras, too. It's too bad they haven't done a "part 2" going from 1993 to the present.

Well, Going Home had sentimental moments for me, like when Mick said he looked around him and saw the two couples holding hands. I guess it took him back to that time when they had actually been two couples, so long ago.
Also, it's the docu where Chris said having Lindsey's voice with theirs again gave her gooseflesh and she looked and saw Lindsey and John with their heads together and she realized the love the band had. I like it for those moments. I like parts of the Tusk documentary too. I like parts of DR. But really, my favorite documentary on FM probably hasn't been made yet. Michele |
