Meh, I just find them boring within Fleetwood Mac. I haven't heard any of their solo work, so I'm not judging them based on any of that, just what I saw and heard in the Mac. They did nothing to "grab" me and came across as dull. The band became quite bland when they joined, imo.

Default Tango Tour

BTM was explosive as a tour (at least in Cleveland)

but Tango was a big let down for me

Christine and Billy sounded great but Stevie was harsh that night. Rick was still finding his way.

Just listen to those 1987/88 live versions of "I Loved Another Woman" & "Rattlesnake Shake"...he found his way in a hurry.

I agree and I liked him on that tour. It is just that La Nicks and CM were not that great on that tour - though they, too, had their moments.

O no,
Something about Little Lies live on that tour really didnt go over well with me. There seemed to be a back up singer who what a voice that just stuck out. And, to me, it was like nails on a chalkboard.

I didn't notice, really. I loved the song live and how Stevie and Christine harmonized on it.

Blame the sound engineer, not the singer.

Default Round 4: Tango In The Night (Shaking The Cage)

Love the setlist, but the vocals leave much to be desired.

OH yeah the real stuff he was dynomite. The LB pop stuff was difficult for him. Almost too easy for him.

And don't neglect Rick's vocals on "Another Woman" The guy has quite a nice singing voice on those old blues -- plaintive, tasteful, firm, moist & tender, with a nutty fragrant bouquet with just a hint of plum.

Shaking The Cage was better.
