Default OWTS tour recognized by Rolling Stone

OWTS named one of 50 greatest concerts of the last 50 years per Rolling Stone magazine.

Hell, it wasn't even their best tour in 35 years.

Got it in the mail today. I tried to find the description of the tour online but no luck. Here's what is the magazine says: "The return of Christine McVie after 16 years brought the Mac's live show to a whole new dimension. Lindsey Buckingham's guitar solo on GYOW soared to new heights. Stevie Nicks seemed possessed during the nightly exorcism of Rhiannon; and all three voices locked seamlessly on Little Lies. It was all the magic of 1977 without the distractions of hard drugs and sexual soap operas."

I'm glad FM was included in the list. I don't agree with the description of Rhiannon at all! To me Stevie was more intense during GDW, esp the first Chicago show.

I feel like the 1979/1980 Tusk tour should have been on this list

Me too. It was a massive tour. Much bigger than OWTS, and Christine was there.

Debbie Downers?
C'mon. It was a miracle of a tour. No one would have ever thought Christine would come back after 16 years and do a long world tour. It was incredible just for that alone. Of course it was not their hey day.

Gonna have to agree. The surprise alone was breath taking. And it was one of hottest tickets in demand. The previous tour in 2013 was barely cracking the top 15 acts. Stevie was amazing on GDW, not Rhiannon.

Not a downer at all, my post gave the wrong impression. I just don't agree with the description of Rhiannon. No doubt Christine's return was the reason this tour made it on the list (and the length). Every show I went to was pure joy.

I went to 3 shows and they were explosive. The crowd was beside itself.

Fleetwood Mac back at the Forum. It was electric.

I saw 16 shows on that tour and had a huge smile on my face every night. Christine's return was miraculous and a blessing for any Mac fan. Not sure 2018 will be able to top that. I hope they do.

Agreed, unless they unleash an arsenal of never before played tracks I doubt it will be.

Agreed. I hope I'm wrong because I'm planning to go to as many shows as possible, but it will be hard to top it with the same setlist over and over again...

Mine too. I just listened to it today on my way to work. There are so many songs they can add but probably won't.
