Default So Stevie isn't sure what the band is doing after she goes to Hawaii for 2 months? Hm

She doesn’t sound averse to new music for the first time in 15 years... makes you wonder if Tom’s passing might have shifted her paradigm. Either that, or she’s simply on her best behavior since this is a charity honoree thing.

Or she realized that she f*cked up by not turning BVie into a FM album. And saw how much they loved doing it and the tour.

Don't they have a tour booked already? "we're open..." Weird.

I agree. She and Mick always love creating drama, whether it's true or not.

Honestly, I'd rather have another BuckVie album and tour.

I think she's just on her best behaviour. Nothing there suggests any interest in new music, it's just the wrong event to say that she doesn't want to record any more.

Exactly. She also took no interest in promoting the big Mac world tour. She played her "I don't know anything" card

That was my main concern, that she didn't say boo about the tour. I expect her to pretend to be open to new music with the Mac (she isn't) but being mum on the new tour? Is the tour signed on the dotted line? Does anyone know? I'm personally not going to see another cash grab tour, but I'm curious as to why she would pretend they have no idea what's happening in 2018.

Pretty sure the tour is cemented. I remember them saying they'd signed on the dotted line.
I wonder if she's intimating she's free later in the spring so she could do some recording...
...but Stevie, Lindsey has his album coming out. I hope you don't want him to shelve it.

Hey I still want to see one more album with the 5 of them. Don't think it will happen but ya never know. We will see all those tracks of Lindsey's eventually. How many times has a FM album started as a LB solo album? Pretty much everyone since the early days.

You make a great point about a FM album starting as a LB album. As far as the FM tour goes I thought it was a done deal. Listen to the last min of this interview (posted by button-lip). Lindsey says "it's not on the books yet, we're talking about it". He sounds casual, maybe they've all agreed to the tour but just haven't signed on the dotted line.

Why he just doesn't say.....Once Stevie decided not to be a part of the project we couldn't call it a Fleetwood Mac record. PERIOD!

I'm thinking she's just in that place of getting off the road and in the state of mind of - "I get to sleep when I want!" "I get to eat when I want!" etc...to come down from being on the freakin road! And— she's starting to process TP's passing.
The last thing on her mind is talking about going back on the road. Or anything to do with work. It's exhausting and draining. Give the girl a break and let her take a breath.

I doubt the band sits and books the tour. Other pros do that. Stevie probably just hasn’t seen a final schedule, hence her answer. Didn’t some media reports say a late 2018 tour? We may not hear thing until March/April if then.

I believe they are just in that state where the details haven't been approved or finalized so why speculate. She's rich.. and she's going to Hawaii for Feb/Mar.

That is what she knows. Can't fault her for that.
