Default What are your guys thoughts and opinions of.... (PLEASE READ)

I love this community, I like to get a lot of peoples different opinions and views

. Bruce Springsteen & E Street Band
i think they are awesome and as a band, play pretty damn good. All though Bruce gets too preachy sometimes

. Live From Daryls House
honestly i think its pretty sad to be honest, if any member of FM did this, id puke. You know you have literally hit the bottom of relevance if you are relegated to taping a show from your homr

. Rick Springfield's new album, Venus In Over Drive
you know, besides the fact that it actually sold real well, I like it, all though it is a rip off of his earlier stuff, I like it and play it often. Good for Rick

. Taylor Swift
you know, hate to admit, she has a few catchy tunes, and at least she writes, LOL

. Dan Marino
he is the best QB of all time and even away from the game, after football, is a clean cut role model. I have never seen anyone do more with less

. 1988 Dodgers
still cant beleive this team actually won the world series. Just shows what momentum can do for a team

. Doobie Brothers

with our without Mcdonald, they are a damn good band. Dangerous is one of my all time fav songs

. Gloria Estefan
big time over rated

. John Fogerty
a jerk if you ask me, though he is really talented

THANKS GUYS

Dan is the man. Hard to say who is best all time.
He's probably the best passing QB of all time. Peyton and
Tom Brady are closing fast. More with less???

Dude your threads give me a headache.

I have grown to like The Boss... I like his softer stuff though. Streets of Philadelphia, Secret Garden, etc.

I have no idea what Live from Darryls House is...

I didnt know Rick Springfield was still recording...

Taylor Swift? She's cute and all... Seems groovy... but I don't know enough about her or her music to make any real opinion.

Dan Marino? I liked him in Ace Ventura Pet Detective.

Dodgers? Pass.

Doobie Brothers... I understand the appeal, but I've never cared for them.

John Fogerty is cool. I like his songs. What he's like as a person? I can only guess.

I love Taylor Swift. & for the longest time I was on the hater side of the tracks when it came to Miss. Swift. I hated the fact that she jumps around on stage, thinking she's a rock star when she performs, and how seemingly similar all her songs sounded at first. Now, I kind of realize that I really relate to a lot of her songs, and the video for Mine got me hooked on her. and she still sucks at singing live, and should have never went near Rhiannon with Stevie, but Stevie singing her song was cute enough.

Live From Daryl's House- I think it's a good idea. It's not just about 'taping a show from home'. It's about Daryl Hall pairing up with other artists for informal performances. There have been plenty of newer artists (Neon Trees, Diane Birch, KT Tunstall) on here and hit artists like Train and Rob Thomas. It's worth checking out! http://www.livefromdarylshouse.com
Also, Daryl is supposed to have a solo album sometime in 2011. I don't think he's completely irrelevant yet!

Rick Springfield- I do agree with you about Venus In Overdrive. It's a great album. Rick Springfield has a lot of great songs! He also seems to be very grateful for his fans and shows it! He has a new autobiography out, as well. It's called Late, Late At Night. You can pick it up at Amazon.com.

Taylor Swift-Unfortunately, I can't get past her terrible performance while singing 'Rhiannon'. She needs some more voice lessons before I'll ever think she's worthy of the awards she's been given.

I don't have any comments or opinions other than to ask, if you read the Rolling Stone interview with John Lennon....where he calls Springsteen's fans...."little turds" who will eventually turn on him....

It's been 30 years since Lennon made that quote...what would he think if he saw the Boss and his following today?
