Sort of silly question for people from SoCal
I need a vacation, I'm really tired of winter and I need to driiiive and see pretty things. I really want to go to Southern California and I really want to go NOW. But. I was wondering.
When it's warm in SoCal, like it is now, do people go to the beach no matter what time of year it is? Like, if I were to go to SoCal now and drive along PCH and stop in, say, Huntington, would I look like an idiot sitting on the beach in a bathing suit? Even better question, is it usually 75-80 in February? I was there in August and it was in the low 70s, but I was there in April and it was in the 90s, so I get the sense there's no real way to tell. I'd just be really sad if I went all the way there and it wasn't warm. And I at least want to sit and enjoy the beach even if I can't go in the water, though that would be ideal as well. Info is appreciated! |
