It's encouraging is that both Mick and Christine have said it now. So, it seems like they've come to a consensus. Whether it's a bluff or they really intend to do it, I don't know. But at least they all have a game plan. In the 10 Question interview, Christine didn't say anything about doing it without Stevie. I think the shift is hopeful.

I tend to think Mick and Christine doing all the press for the rerelease is very calculated. The band knows Lindsey can't continue to push Stevie in the press without consequences. However, the founding members sure can.

The tone of Christine's comments seems to be: "the boys have indulged your tantrum for over a decade, but no more."

If I were Lindsey, my take would be it's just not worth taking the heat for making comments in the press anymore. He's been labeled the troublemaker of the band in the past. If this album is something the other three really want, Lindsey shouldn't be the only one putting on the pressure and taking the heat. It's encouraging to see more of a unified front from this group. It seems as if the attitude may be, we want to continue making new music, we are not planning our last act to be based on reunion oldies tours.

Agreed, I noticed he took a lot of heat for SYW. But, he was the one working the hardest.

And SYW was/is a pretty rewarding album. A very full and believable musical experience.
