Exclamation Billy Burnette spotted on Crossroads

OMG! I just watched Crossroads on CMT with Keith Urban and John Fogerty. I look at the other players and who is that playing guitar....Billy Burnette! If you get a chance (believe me, they rerun stuff into the ground), watch it!!

Thanks for the heads up. Crossroads is one of my favorite shows to watch on CMT. Keith Urban , John Fogerty I will be looking for Billy, but not necessarily tuning in to watch him.

Can you believe I just recently bought BB's "Are You With Me Baby" off ebay! Dirt cheap too!

Fogerty did a "Live by Request" on A&E not too long ago and BB was with him then, too. I found myself watching it because of Billy. I really like JF but he wasn't the one I was watching. JF introduced the band at the end and talked about what a great songwriter BB is.

Yep, he sure was. The only musician to NOT get any "face time" during the episode.

I was watching the program Saturday night, and I looked at everyone in the room, and I was like "that guy was in Fleetwood Mac!" Of course, I had to explain the whole "it was after Lindsey" thing. I was a great show. I hope everyone will catch it when it is on again.

More of why I don't think Billy got a fair shake in Fleetwood Mac. (Although, maybe he needed to be more assertive with his material the way Lindsey was when he joined Fleetwood Mac.)

Exclamation 18 days, Brian!!

2 and a half weeks!! I'm not excited...no, not me, nuh uh.

Also, I went back to look at the credits, just to make 100% sure and they billed him under John Fogerty's band as....Bill Burnett...oookay. Is that what he's using/spelling it as these days or did they screw it up? I wouldn't be surprised.

What a great show, and especially Keith doing "You'll Think Of Me". I was wearing goosebumps and my eyes got all watery and ****.

So that was George lurking to the right of the drummer, waaaaaaaaaaaay in the back. Old Billy Beau was almost taking center stage.
