Every last freakin' one of us has a strong desire to hear a live version of every song she has that she's never performed live before. Hell I'd even be happy if she sang Jane, you know that stupid song about monkey's.

you think? I've never considered it as anything other than a Klonopin throwaway, I'll try to visualize it as something else. Maybe if the tempo was slowed down a bit... |

There's a demo floating around that is better.
But, I do like the song and I liked it when it came out. To me, the production of BTM is mundane sounding and trite. That is sad because the talent in the players was clearly there. And - to each their own. I like Jane, to the horror of others |

I like Jane too! I mean, I don't love it as my favorite Stevie song of all time, but it has some good parts to it. When she sings "there are angels here...angels, angels sent from God...", oh I love that. I love when she sings about angels, actually.

Plus, I think Jane was the first time since the song Bella Donna that she did that cool harmony thing with the girls. She does it at the end of the song, which I think is cool. There is a cool demo of Jane out there somewhere. |

I had that Jane demo, on a cassette. Lost all my demos and rarities years ago during one of my moves. But I remember the Jane demo. I like to joke about the 'chimpanzee' line, but again I like the angels chorus and yes, I agree the ending is lovely.

So, so true. I would love nothing more than for Stevie to be a little more adventurous in her set lists... adding one previously unpreformed ballad to each new tour is not enough.
