Talking Christine McVie interview 1980

Chris looks amazing here. I can never get enough Chris. She is so grounded, humble, and quite funny. She is the ultimate accidental rock star. So many rock stars tell the story of how hard life is. Its so funny to hear her say......we are pampered.....there is nothing tough about this lifestyle......all you need to do is come up with some good songs now and then. HA HA
No wonder she took down Stevie with that trainer remark.

Love her so much. This interview is fab.
I love it when she says 'I can be extrovert...depends how drunk I am'. Her delivery is like a professional stand up comedian.
I'd so much love to share a bottle of wine with her.

Part of me wants to point out that it ultimately got to her, but then again she also (before her dad passed) said that she couldn't see herself doing this after 50. She was 47 at the time.

Ha! And Lindsey said in a CREAM magazine article in 1982 that he did not want to be on the road at age 40 But the funny part is she says she can never not see her not being a part of Fleetwood Mac and they would be in wheel chairs touring. Too funny! "I don't feel like an arrogant flippant bitch.. You don't need to be a bitch to be successful in this business." HA HA

Love this interview. She has Fleetwood Mac in her blood. She's always felt the pull of it, as have all the members.

Maybe even more so. Think about this: she was playing with Fleetwood Mac, as a session player, before Danny Kirwan was a member of the band.

God I love that woman. They don't make 'em like that anymore.

She is so much classier and way more fun that Stevie could possibly dream of. I don't care how much money or sales Stevie has, she'll never match Christine in the class dept.
