Hanford/Bakersfield ANYONE??????

I went to Bakersfield. Am still there trying to work up the stamina to made the 2 1/2 hour trip home. Stayed at the Hilton last night rather than brave the grapevine back to L.A. in the dark. Had enough of that coming back last week from Stevie's Soboba concert.

The concert was great except for some drunk over-the-hill woman who used the stage as a bar and rudely interrupted Lindsey during a couple of his "speeches." Surprisingly enough, Lindsey was very gentlemanly about it. Anywhere else, (Think Stevie's Soboba show for those who were there you know what I mean.) security would have tossed her out. She was quite annoying and rude. But I have two more shows to see this leg in L.A. and San Diego and I'm sure the crowd won't be so "earthy."

New drummer-I think Lindsey said he was a Cuban. He was great and sounded amazing. Kudos new guy. Brett was back too. Other than that there were no surprises. A good solid show and very polished. Lindsey and company were in sync the entire night.

So it's on to Annaheim. If the two teachers that I met at Stevie's Soboba concert are still "lurking" I'd still like to hook up. You can email me at CChambers8@compuserve.com. Sorry we couldn't exchange info at the end of the concert but I wanted to get out while the getting was good.
