I went on a road trip this weekend, XM radio was all about some Fleetwood Mac. 70s on 7. 80s on 8, Classic Rewind, Classic vinyl, The Bridge. Say You Love Me, I heard twice, You Make Loving Fun, Gold Dust Woman, Everywhere, Sara, Hold Me, even I Don't Want To Know. I also heard Sentimental Lady.
When I get a rental car with Sirius XM radio for a business trip, those are the five channels I choose for the station buttons. If you're of a certain age, that's the music you grew up with.

Stand Back came on the good classic rock station here and after the song the DJ mentioned Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie came in at number 3 on Forbes highest earning females. He said how cool it was that they were up there with Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. He then said "if you're hoping to hear Katy Perry or Taylor Swift on here, then you're out of luck"

I don't know if this is technically considered unexpected FM, but

I just spotted this on a Facebook post about a local woman who's selling baked goods. Now every time I will listen to Dreams, all I'll hear is "Have you any beets you'd like to sell?"

In a radio interview on Saturday, wildlife filmmaker George Buchanan chose Tusk as the song he would pass onto his children. He loves it for it's madness, mania and absurdity, and plays it on a weekly basis. The clip is here, starting at 3mins.

There's a 2nd hand CD section at one of the places I work. I noticed a promotional CD for a Canadian band called Young Galaxy, and the 2nd track is a cover of Walk A Thin Line. Only 3 views on youtube, and 2 of those are mine, but I quite like it

Video unavailable. Perhaps you and the original poster are the only ones who can watch it.

Well that's quite strange, it plays without a problem from here. ??? Maybe if I embed it, although I can't see it making much difference.

The embed is fine, but when you try to play it you get the same message "Video Unavailable". Must be a rights issue, I'm in the US. A shame since I've always enjoyed that song.

It's also on Spotify for free if you have an account, or if you don't mind signing up with them

weirdly, the 1st and the 3rd song are available but not the 2nd (Walk A Thin Line) which is grayed out.

That is weird, as I can play it from here on Spotify. It must be to do with US rights. The song isn't amazing, but it's worth a listen. I like her voice and the backing vocals, and just the fact it's a WATL cover. It's quite true to the original, apart from a couple of noisy electronic parts in the middle of the song.

I'll try to get it downloaded. I don't have CD drive on my laptop, but I can get a friend to help.

Okay, not a song, but unexpected- was at trivia night tonight. One of the categories was rock stars' high school pictures. Stevie's was included. Easy point there.
