I remember this review when it first appeared and did not completely concur with it then and even less so now.I think even though Stevie was a bit more involved with this one than Tango she was inexorably lost to the Klonopin by this time. This lp only just managed to crack the US top 20 although I know it went to no. 1 England ,carried by the wake of the enormous success of TITN there.Compared to any of the Buckingham /Nicks Mac albums I find it a disappointment .In the Back of Your Mind is alright though.

I think it's a solid album. I does lack color and production. But the music is really good. Stevie's vocals stand out as annoying here. I don't like Skies the Limit as an opener (awful!) The title track and In the Back of my Mind are high points. And Chris' vocals are Pristine.

I don't usually bother listening to this album much at all. The other day I put it in & I was shocked - I really LIKE it. Esp. Chris' songs.
