and elle, if you can point me to that video of him tossing the guitar onstage in his solo show and then re-composing himself, I'd love to see it!
i'm searching but can't find it... i think it was Santa Cruz Rio theatre, OMS tour in 2012, and i think it was right before NGBA because guitar he threw looked kinda like his BL guitar but was actually the one he uses for NGBA. there's no video of him actually throwing it, but there was one of him composing himself, and making fun on his own account while introducing the next song (NGBA i guess? not sure).

yeah re getting someone's attention to fix what didn't work while still trying to perform. but that's apparently not professional enough for some people - don't you know it, according to these people he's unprofessional since his first priority should have been to look back at Stevie, instead of trying to actually do the show!

EDIT: not Santa Cruz, must have been Carmel. still looking...

As to the original thread topic, I think Stevie's getting out of bed comment has been blown way out of proportion. She wasn't complaining about Lindsey not waiting around all night, or even blaming the lack of FM album on that, she was simply showing how their lives are totally different now -- he eats dinner at home with his family, she stays up and watches the sun rise when everyone is asleep. They have different lifestyles and generally don't get along so why bother forcing something?

Regarding the vitriol towards Stevie fans, I think that one user a few pages back nicely proved the point... Trolling Stevie fans as emo kids obsessed with witches is unnecessarily inflammatory. It would be cool if we could just have discussions about the band we all love!

I for one find it amazing that all the band members seem to find a balance between classic songs and new/different songs outside of FM yet they all play the same songs at every show with FM. Clearly everyone is fed up with doing the same songs. I imagine the three songwriters each feel they have certain hits that they must play and then once those are all in, there's no room for anything else.

that post was nasty and trolling, and lindsey fans were calling it out as such, even before stevie fans.

but that's a single example. you can see dozens of JohnL posts spinning pretty out of control - although luckily never reaching the nastiness of that single post by AlexB, or if they did those posts were removed.

however - that nasty post proves exactly the opposite of your point, i think - how much stevie defenders normally overreact to the smallest criticism of her and start calling others trolls and haters for no real reason. it would be cool if we could have discussions about the band we love - without unnecessarily calling each other trolls.

Know who's a troll? That Stevie Nicks. She's one!

Mr. Useless says she won't even get out of bed until 3!!!
