...sure is lame. Most of the time when you click on something it just links you to other sites. I mean come on - "Click here for Photos" so you click and it's like "To see photos go to these OTHER Sites"! Well, duh! I don't need an "official site" to get links!

Hopefully it will improve.

I completely agree. I was really angry that after all that wait they didn't have the promised studio footage. Then the only thing that doesn't direct you to the other sites, was the audio.

Mick: some overdone and suspiciously refined PR tripe about the personal dramas of FM always coming second to the music on this lovely double CD you can ourchase for $15 ....
Stevie: a plug for the Dixie Chicks Landlside, or vice versa
John: "Hi I'm John and I play Bass. I try to stay with the drums."
Lindsey: the only one I wanted to hear, and - whoops, is still to have something uploaded.

LAME!LAME!LAME! I was extremely disappointed. But, like Nacy said, hopefully it will improve.

I was really disappointed too. After all that waiting, we're given little more than links to sites many of us already know backwards and forwards.

Would have been nice to have some photos, etc., that were unique to the band's official site... but, like you said, hopefully it will get better in time.

Agreed....

If they would have never told us a specific date that they would be updating the site (ie. Nov 1st), then I would have been thrilled with what was added.... but since they did release a date, I was expecting much more.

Oh well, I guess we should be happy that we got something instead of nothing... hopefully they'll add more UNIQUE stuff soon!!! I WANT TO HEAR FROM LINDSEY!!!!!!

One of the administrators over on Mick's site, who evidently is also going to be running the official FM site, has indicated that the FM site is in its infancy and more will be added as the new album's release approaches. We'll just hope it's a lot more.

I sure hope so....at the moment it gets my vote for the most pathetic site I've ever visited on the Internet. What they've basically done is chosen what to call "official information" from other sites and then sourced it all together at their site...what the hell's the point of that?!
