Listening to the Big 80s countdown this week in 1987. Everyone's favorite around here Seven Wonders was at #27, a deep dive from its peak at #19 a week earlier.
I must say holy crap the music sucks. Some of these songs I have not heard since 1987 and there is a reason. So many of them have the same programmed beat and so cheezy. Last week's 1981 countdown every song was incredible. OMG anyone remember The Fat Boys and the Beach Boys teamed up for Wipe Out? Seriously, the mid to late 80s had the worst music ever.

I could not help to think that too bad Lindsey did not time his leaving Fleetwood Mac 2 months earlier to have made Seven Wonders a bigger hit.

He always did love Christine more than Stevie. Right up to the very end.

Say You Will(the single) on a commercial FM radio station. I never even heard it on the radio when the album was new.

I just heard Dreams on Sirius and I swear it was sped up. Not that the pitch changed, just. the tempo was slightly faster. The ride cymbal was definitely going faster.
