THat's interesting. I just assumed all of those tracks from that bootleg were from the BTM sessions. Of course, Homer got the reason right why they picked "No Questions Asked" instead.

IMO, "Paper Doll" would've been the better choice. (but, then, I don't have a clue what the song sounded like before Lindsey did whatever he did to it)

I like No Questions Asked, i don't care what anyone says

But i agree that all Rick's songs are better than "Stand On The Rock" - I really can't stand this song.

The outtakes are good, but not BTM, im glad they changed it for the album

No, none for "Freedom". Most of the outtakes are Chris, Rick & Billy songs.

Thanks Macfan. Im reading on throwndown.net that there are a few more demos/outtakes that werent posted. i'd love to hear the demo for "As long as you follow" - is the demo for No Questions Asked that is on there the one where Stevie sings "No questions asked" at the very beginning?

I'll check my CDs later this evening, but I think I remember one of the outtakes of NQA did have her singing that at the beginning of the song. It sounds familiar to me. Would you like that one too? I'll try to post the outtake of "As Long As You Follow" tomorrow. I have dial-up, so it takes a bit longer to upload, but I should be able to do it tomorrow morning.

Which is sad, because from a technical perspective, Vito was the best guitarist the band ever had. Incidentally, to all of the other guitar players out there, did you see the write-up of Vito's new signature Reverand in a recent issue of Guitar Player?

Sorry if it's old news, but what was the underlying issue? Did he just not click with Mick - or anyone else - the way Billy apparently did?

You can check in his Q&A..but I don't remember that he really wanted to get into the specifics of why he left...

I tried to upload "No Questions Asked", but I kept getting this alert about entering a secure site. When I clicked on OK, then the page wouldn't load. Then later YouSendIt's website gave me a message about the server being too busy. I'll try to upload "No Questions Asked" later today or tomorrow.
