Bootleg artwork

Well here's an idea. Probably a stupid one, but I'll throw it out there anyhow.
What if people tried to pitch in and make art for the bootlegs that don't have any? The more popular bootlegs, at least.
I'm someone who absolutely hates having the artwork empty in my iTunes library, and bootlegs are the main culprit with that.
I could just make them for myself, but I hate everything I make. I could still make some though...
We could use throwndown.net to help compile a list of ones that need it and people could volunteer or whatever?
I don't know, just an idea. We'll see.

I'm the same way about missing album art, it drives me mad. But I'm not much of a one for photoshopping, so I just use a picture of the group that I like for the bootleg covers.

That works for me right now, but I'd love some great looking covers for these shows. Especially since there seems to be alot of talented artistic types around here. So, yeah, not a stupid idea at all!

BTW, I've downloaded the few shows I have from this board, but I never thought to check throwndown.net for covers. Gonna go check that out.

Well thank you very much, but what I meant was the bootlegs that don't have any artwork. Not all of them do.
I'll go through that though to see if there's any there that I'm missing.

I go through phases of making bootleg artwork ... it's all very basic Photoshop stuff, but I'll post some of my better efforts when I get a chance!

I made something for the Mirage Demos and Outtakes bootleg. The one with Chris singing Gypsy and all the different mixes of Hold Me and Oh Diane and all that stuff.
It isn't much, but it's better than nothing I suppose.
