These are actually from 1974, from the "Heroes Are Hard To Find" tour. This show was recorded at the Record Plant, and has been released under several names, with variations on the track listings. You can find the whole set here (although "Bermuda Triangle" is slightly cut, which isn't the case on the "Bermuda Triangle" CD I have of the show.)

I love You Send It. I don't know how many times someone has asked me to e-mail them a track. Since I have dial-up, that's not possible. But with You Send It, it's so much easier, even with dial-up.

I also didn't know you could download the Sausalito show. "Bermuda Triangle" isn't cut on my copy of this bootleg, although "Future Games" is cut in the middle of the song.

Somebody was offering Sausalito downloads, about a year ago, which I was very glad to get. The CD I previously had of it had digital "skips" in several places. I slightly prefer Hempstead to Sausalito though.

I'll agree that the sound quality is ever so slightly better on the Hempstead set...plus 3 points....however, there's no "Oh Well"...all points lost.

So this is a studio cut? I'd freak if it wasn't. (Piano and organ are being played at the same time)
I've been waiting for a 74 live-ish version of Why.

EDIT: !!! She's playing a Mellotron (or a really good string synth)!!!
(Sustained strings at the end)

EDIT 2: Who was Bobby Hunt? (Just read the band names on that page)
I didn't know she ever had a backup keyboardist in those days!

I "think" they were tour rehearsals.

I'm fairly certain that's Bobby Hunt on Mellotron, too.

Bobby was Bob's bandmate from Head West. Since they'd been reduced to one guitar player, Bobby was brought onboard to flesh out the sound, playing Hammond and Mellotron.

Chris only played electric piano & grand piano on this boot. Any other keyboard is played by Bobby Hunt. Doug Graves took Hunt's place later on for the Heroes tour. I'm not sure this is a rehearsal. Maybe it was recorded for a radio program? I LOVE both the Sausalito & Hempstead boots, by the way.

Yes, I realized some of those things after further edits. :P

But yeah, I didn't know they ever had an extra keyboardist in those days.
