I did see part of the finale on Wednesday night but I had missed some episodes in between. Its funny at the end I had a 'feeling' the person getting off that plane was gonna be Cliff Barnes---didn't release that Rebecca was his daughter but is this his daughter with Afton or someone else?? I really wish VP would show up next season. That would be awesome. I mean its that show that made it possible for her success as a business woman in real life too.
JR will never change. But I guess most people don't want him to really. Hopefully, I'll try to follow it more next season it starts in January. I hope theres more twists & turns ahead & more surprise cast returns that would be cool. They have to mix the old with the 'new' or us original watchers won't be interested. Its hard to get into the 'kids' when I haven't really cared about them as much as when they were little. We'll see really but the storylines have to be good as well as the writing if not it goes down hill from there. IMO anyway.

Just finished the second season of the "new" Dallas.
It was awesome! New season starts this month, but I'll have to wait until this time next year to see it streaming. I'd like to say more, but I don't want to spoil anything for those that might watch it. Best soap opera on TV. Take that lovers of Downton Abbey. |

I recently finished watching the First Season of this new Dallas. I had avoided it for so long because I love the original series so much. I just feared with all the pretty new faces that this reboot would be style over substance. Turned out I couldn't be more wrong! I was shocked at how absolutely amazing & true to the original this new series is. Now I need to go out & rent/buy the Second Season so I can get caught up in time for the Third Season premiere in a couple of weeks!

the second season was. I didn't think a TV show could make me feel that way. I'd love to say more but I don't want to ruin it for you or anyone else. |

I'd like the new Dallas more if it used some of the older, though never developed characters (i.e. JR and Callie's son, and Lucas Kreb -who's actually's Bobby's son). I'd also love it if John Ross tried to completely screw Christopher over, but Sue Ellen blocks him after remembering that Christopher is her biological nephew. Little things like THAT would make the show awesome.

what happened in real life. At the risk of ridicule, that scene and the others before and after concerning that character made my heart hurt. I had to watch it by myself. SteveMacD, I don't remember Lucas Kreb. |

Yeah, can't wait for the new season to start. Will be interesting to see what happens since J R's death (Larry Hagman will be missed). I was sad that they 'killed' off Pam though. Victoria Principal and Patrick Duffy were such a great couple back in the day. They were my favorites on the original show. But I guess Victoria isn't interested in doing any more acting these days. At least that's what I'd heard in an interview. She is a very busy business woman herself. Though I still wished she'd come back and they hadn't killed her at all. It'll be interesting to see how this season comes about.

but I remember coming home from school and watching I Dream Of Jeannie. And then came Dallas in the late 70's. So I kind of grew up watching Larry Hagman. J.R., Roger Thorpe and Darth Vader those are my favorite villains. What does that say about me? And Pam, never say never. This is Dallas after all. |

Season 3 starts superbly. I think it's the best show on TV. (The best shows off tv are Blue, Borgia, and Web Therapy.)
Josh Henderson and Julie Gonzalo are the hottest things to hit tv since Ryan O'Neal and Barbara Parkins (Peyton Place).

I love it. Love Josh Henderson. I attended a premiere where he and Emma did a Q&A - I think this season is going to be awesome. I'm not happy about the split where they air half and then the other half in the summer but whatcha gonna do.

Split half of the season? How many episodes this year? Does a split season mean I'll be able to stream them quicker? So many questions... No Spoilers please - anyone. |

Sorry about the invite! I just found out about it the day before - it must be a new thing the art school here in ATL is doing. Very Paley Center-ish. I loved it. Keep watching and watch live if you can. They need ratings.

I hope it's at least 15 episodes. When you stream them it doesn't take long to watch the whole season. I should make myself watch one episode every two weeks so it will last. But I can't. I'm hooked. I cut the cord as they say, so I can't watch it live. If it's axed, as I don't know the ratings, I hope Netflix will pick it up like they've done with other shows. |

I am still watching!
Yes, I'm still watching. I have to record it though. At the time it's on, I'm switching back & forth between The Voice & DWTS. But I watch it on Friday, the original night that it used to come on years ago. I love it. Very good writing & acting. My husband still watches it with me. We both like naughty Emma; she's like Lucy was.
